Ranked and awarded #1 “Best Place to Work,” AWE earns top nod for company culture and performanceWe stepped up on a stage in front of a room of more than 800 business leaders in Arizona at Phoenix Business Journal’s Best Places to Work awards luncheon. We played it cool, of course, but inside we were ecstatic. Out of almost 50 finalists in our category, AWE Collective was named the #1 Best Place to Work!
This is how the whole process worked: After submitting nominations to the Phoenix Business Journal, the winners in the various categories were chosen by an anonymous survey sent to all staff members that asked them to score things like the company’s strong leadership, supportive environment and unique ways that they company takes care of them. Those scores were then averaged out, the Business Journal’s editorial staff weighed in and the winners were selected and announced.
Cut back to the awards ceremony. We’ve always known our agency is a great place to work, and we pride ourselves on our stellar office culture and work-hard, play-hard balance. But having this acknowledged by the Phoenix Business Journal makes it officially official and incredibly meaningful.
And we were so happy to see many of our industry friends on the nomination lists across several different categories. We’re sending congratulations to all of them for bettering the Arizona industry as a whole. And of course, a big thank you to our peers at the Phoenix Business Journal.
Over the years, we’ve seen that clients love working with AWE because we love what we do. Making sure the team feels included and valued is our first priority, whether that’s through off-site professional development workshops, closing the office early for a few hours of bonding over karaoke or participating in a march to support a cause close to our hearts. Collaboration is key in our office, so fostering those family vibes ensures that our work is the best it can be.
And if that sounds like the place you want to be, keep an eye on our social feeds! We’re always looking for our next great intern or team member!
